Evidence-Based Policy in Development Network

Call for the production of a Comparative Study

Summary: GDN and CIPPEC have launched a call to produce a comparative study within the “Spaces for engagement: using knowledge to improve pro poor public policy” project. The comparative study must include a theoretical framework and extract, analyze and compare the lessons learnt from four case studies that systematize the successful experience of the Policy Research Institutes (PRIs) or think tanks in Latin America that have worked o are currently working jointly with a governmental agency to produce and/or use research or evidence that influence on social policy.
The main purpose of this call is that the researcher systematizes and socializes the conclusions extracted from the case studies about the bond between a PRI and a governmental agency through a rigorous and methodological analysis of the experiences. This call is aimed at researchers with experience in systematization of case studies (especially in social policy). Interested researchers must submit their research detailing: study region, team and main researcher, objectives of the research, methodology, and schedule.
The wining comparative study will provide with USD 7000 to conduct the research.
